FAQs
Can you travel for my wedding?
I'm more than willing to travel for your wedding. As part of the standard package, I cover travel within a 30-mile radius. Beyond this distance, an additional charge of 63 cents per mile will be applied. For weddings located over 30 miles away, the cost of delivering the painting will also be factored into the final invoice. In cases where the travel time by car exceeds 3 hours, I may opt for train or plane travel and secure hotel accommodations if necessary, with these expenses added to the final invoice.
What package should I select?
Choosing the right Live Wedding Painting Package primarily hinges on canvas size. Larger canvas sizes correspond to higher package prices and offer more space for intricate details, allowing even the smallest elements to be depicted in high definition. Additionally, each package includes varying studio hours, ranging from 15 to 40 hours, enabling customization based on your preferences and budget.
How do I book you?
To secure your date, please complete the Live Painting Inquiry Form. It's important to note that I cannot reserve dates without a 25% deposit and a signed contract. Due to high demand, availability can change rapidly, so prompt action is recommended.
What will you wear to my wedding?
I'll dress appropriately for your wedding day, usually in a formal attire that complements the theme of your event. If you have specific dress code requests, please don't hesitate to let me know, and I'll gladly adhere to them.
What does the process on the day of the wedding look like?
On your wedding day, I arrive 1-2 hours prior to the ceremony to begin painting the background and plan the composition based on your creative vision. The painting is already in progress when your guests arrive. Throughout the day, I capture photos according to the pose and vision we discussed during our design consultation. Toward the end of the evening, the painting will be mostly complete, and I'll present it to you for approval. If your photographer and videographer are still present, I'll coordinate with them to ensure they capture you with your beautiful new painting. Afterward, I take the painting home to finish.
How can I frame my painting?
Your painting will come with painted edges, making it ready for hanging. However, if you prefer framing, consider visiting your local frame store. Look for "open back" or "floater" frames with a 3/4 inch to 1-inch rabbet depth, which are often readily available at craft stores or online retailers.
